Eyecerity ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use our AI-powered mock interview coaching platform (the "Service") available at eyecerity.com.
By accessing or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
When you register for an account, we collect:
When you use the mock interview feature, the following data is generated and stored:
Your camera feed is displayed locally in your browser to simulate a realistic interview setting. Video is processed entirely on your device. We do not record, upload, store, or transmit your video to any server — ever. When you close your session, the video feed is discarded completely.
Your microphone captures your spoken responses during interview sessions. Live audio is streamed in real time to Deepgram for transcription. We do not store your raw audio recordings. Once Deepgram converts your speech to text, the audio data is discarded and is not retained by Eyecerity.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. Your credit card information is entered directly into Stripe's PCI DSS-compliant payment form and transmitted to Stripe's servers. Eyecerity never receives, processes, or stores your full credit card number. We retain only your Stripe customer identifier and subscription status for billing management purposes.
When you visit our website, we may automatically collect standard log data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This information is used solely for analytics, security monitoring, and improving the Service.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share data only with the third-party service providers necessary to operate our platform. Each provider processes your data solely to perform its designated function:
We do not share your data with advertisers, marketing partners, or data brokers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, provided they agree to honor this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose personal information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Eyecerity, our users, or the public.
When you delete your account, all personal data in our active databases — including transcripts, scorecards, speech metrics, and account information — is permanently deleted. Residual copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within 30 days.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission via TLS/SSL, secure server infrastructure, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. All sensitive data at rest is stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security policies.
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we are committed to taking reasonable precautions to safeguard your data.

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and sessions) to maintain your login state, remember your preferences, and enhance the performance and functionality of the Service. We do not place personally identifiable information in cookies. Most browsers allow you to disable cookies, though doing so may limit certain functionality of the Service.
